It is really fascinating to read JFK secret phone call that he made during his presidency. And also how he persuade Barnett do put Meredith to the State of Mississippi college.Even though that Barnett made a lot of excuses to not put him in a prestigious school. Valerie Pattey
I listened to President Nixon on Bombing for Peace. I found that these phone calls were mainly other people trying to impress Nixon and Nixon giving out orders on how to proceed and convince the public that he's right in what he's doing. He wants to persuade everyone that's needed to complete this task, to follow him blindly without question. And they're all eating it up. Nixon is very careful but also straightforward in what he says to people. I really appreciate that, but I also know that this is possibly all a front to convince me to buy into his decisions.
PRESIDENT'S CALLING- I listened to about three presidents; Nixon, JFK and LBJ. Even though LBJ's unprofessional calls to the former first lady were pretty funny I found Nixon's calls very interesting. His harsh language and rash approach to presidency are very funny and the fact he says racy wile he doesn't know the microphone is on is too funny too.
