Tuesday Jan 12th Today we took the quiz for terms list 14b. We had extra time to study before the quiz, specifically the Wade-Davis bill. After the quiz we continued notes on Sectionalism and the changing economy of Mill Times.
Thursday, 1/14 K. Patel, 2nd period Today we sketched a political cartoon of John Bull on a clean left in our notebooks. After that we discussed it and continued on with notes. There is no new terms list, but you should be working on your final DBQ project.
In class we drew a new political cartoon of John Bull and Uncle Sam. We talked about the Monroe Doctrine along with the instructions for our Process Paper for History Fair. The paper is due on January 22nd and only needs to be around 500 words. Instructions for the paper are on the lovely lavider. As a class we also chose when we all wanted to blog.
Almost half the class was out today due to competitions and early vacations so in class we reviewed the Hartford Convention, the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions and the importance of the 1824 Presidential Election.
Review for Monday, 1/11 M, White 2nd period market revolution:Mill Times Taylor gave a great overview of Monday's work. The only thing I would add would be to clarify that 14a was not due (for a quiz or in terms notebook) but that it was strongly suggested for us to know the terms on the list for the next unit test (date still to be announced). Fantastic job!

Taylor did a great job blogging on what we did on Monday. Terms list 14b is due on tuesday but 14a is not. We are also only tested on terms list 14b but Ms. McCarron suggested that we at least know the terms on 14a.
