Today Ms. McCarron was out and we had Mr. Cummings as our substitute. We watched a video on the 20th Century and had a worksheet that went with it. Don't forget to study for the quiz tomorrow on ID Terms Lists #2.

Hope you're having a nice weekend! Make sure that you are doing your Take Home Test #1 that is due Monday, the 12th and also doing your ID Terms List #3 that is due Tuesday, the 13th. Don't forget!

-Before the quiz, we created a list of terms--politicians vs other people--and listed two characteristics of each; we then compared the list.
-Turn in notebooks overnight
-Take Quiz
After the quiz: pick up American Issues book and read article 29.5 (pg 490-492): "The United States and the 'New Terrorism'"
-On left side of lecture notebook, answer question numbers 2 and 3 in complete sentences
We also reviewed blogging: all from this week and the past are due Sept 9, by 5 p.m.
