Tuesday 9/20 G.Evelo, 2 Hey! So, today in class we took our ID Quiz #4 and turned in our terms notebook. After we picked up a handout and read it until everyone else was done with the test. Then we took notes on the voting process. Remember to bring your handout that you picked in class today back tomorrow. Also start working on your ID Quiz #5 terms!
Wednesday, 9/21 M. Gaines, 2 Today in class we received a copy of JFK's Inaugural Address and watched the 1960 Presidential Election between candidates John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon. Then we wrote down the goals of each candidate and discussed their mannerisms. REMEMBER ID QUIZ #5 NEXT TUESDAY (9/27)
Thursday, 9/22 V. France 2 Today we listened to JFK's Inaugural Address and followed along on our handout. We talked about how JFK spoke and why it was convincing. Then we made inferences about a political cartoon dealing with civil rights. ID Quiz #5 is next Tuesday! Make sure you're doing your terms!
Friday, 9/23 M. Gaines, 2 Today in class we discussed civil rights issues and events during the 50's and 60's. We also covered the laws that infringed upon african american rights. REMEMBER ID QUIZ #5 NEXT TUESDAY (9/27)
