Rachel Shaeffer 5/16 Good Evening Apushers- Today in class we discussed our college plans by answering questions Ms. McCarron asked us to write on a folded sheet of paper. she asked us to examine what we want out of a college: extracurriculars, academics, and surroundings. After this activity we helped decide what the HUSH students should do for a review assignment. The due date for the letter of reccomendation was moved back to Wednesday, the same date that the resume is due. Don't forget to turn in these last few assignments!
Rachel Shaeffer 5/17 On this lovely Tuesday morning we realized our wrongdoing in taking our take home tests out of the room... Don't worry though, we got it all sorted out. If you missed today, make sure you turn your test and the scantron in to Ms. McCarron ASAP! We also took a field trip to the art room today to dispose of the remaining history fair projects. The room looks so empty now! After we returned, we began watching Doctor Strangelove, one of John and McCarron's favorite movies. It is made in the 60's and a very quotble film so I hope we enjoy it as much as they do. Tomorrow we will probably continue watching this movie. Wish the students who are taking the makeup exam goodluck as tomorrow they will be taking it.
Rachel did a very good job. She remember everything and included the new due date for the letter of recommendation. Rachel also remembered to say that the letter and the resume are due the same day. I have nothing to add to her blog.

Kirsten Brown 5/18 This Wednesday was in the low 80s, a very tolerable temperature. However, this pleasurable weather was interrupted by the revolting smell of fart bags distributed across the campus by our loving and slightly brain deficient seniors. Anyways, we turned in our letters of reccomendation today. We could have turned in our resumes, but they aren't technically due until tomorrow. Ms. McCarron also returned our planning sheets from the exam. AND SHE GAVE US TWIZZLERS (MMMM!). We watched some more of Doctor Strange Love, but stopped at "the best scene"- John Thyre, 5/18. "Me, Myself, and I"s are due Friday. Super Heros due Monday I believe, but the calendar may have been changed.
Kirsten Brown 5/19 Today was another very chill day. A little bit wramer weather, and no major senior prank that I've heard of. In class today, we turned in our resumes. Tomorrow, our "Me, Myself, and I"s are due. Ms. McCarron posted a template to schoology and I believe she was planning on posting one to the blog as well. We got farther in Doctor Strange Love today. I won't give away any spoilers, but it actually is a very interesting movie... I'm skeptical about the humor though. Don't forget the Superheros due on Monday either! (Count Down: 6 whole days. 3 half days)
As usual Miss Brown did a splendid job on her blog. She was very detailed and even added in entertaining commentary on the day outside of the APUSH classroom. She was also helpful enough to remind us of dates! Very nice job!
Kirsten once again did an outstanding job on her blog post. She filled us in on the down low of class. She also reminded us of important dates, and project deadlines! Excellent job!
