Monday 5/9/11
Today our books were due for full credit. If you forgot to bring your book make sure to turn it in tomorrow because it's 25 points off everyday you don't turn it in! The last part of the take home test was also due today. We bubbled in the answers for the take home test on scan sheets today in class. We also received two assignments, one due Friday and the other due Monday.

Tuesday 5/10/11
Today we watched a video about World War II, Nazi Germany, and the United State's envolvement. Remember to finish up the assignment that is due Friday and the other that's due Monday!

Review for Wednesday May 11, 2011
No one reviewed for Wednesday so here is the breakdown. I wasn't in class on the 11th. No one was because of the AP Lang exam. I hope that everyone had good vibes during the exam.
Mrs. McCarron will go over the take home test as soon as possible.

Review for Thursday May 12, 2011
Whoever was supposed to review this day did not review (uh-oh!). On Thursday, Mrs. McCarron returned to school and we went over "the Good, the Bad, the Ugly, and the Pretty" of the APUSH exam. Many of us felt comfortable that we were qualified to get the college credit.
For those who were absent this week, they received new assignment sheets: the resume assignment, the American Superhero project, and the Me, Myself, and I sheet. If you did not receive anyone of these sheets, please get them from Mrs. McCarron.
Also, in class today, Mrs. McCarron gave us a little something for our hard work for the exam: sorry, can't post it here! (Thanks, mrs. McCarron!!!!)
The Alumni registration is due tomorrow night and have a great day!

I wasn't at school that day because of the AP Lang exam. Assuming everyone else had AP Lang too, there was no class. I hope everyone felt good about the exam.

Due to a little blogger website maintenance, I wasn't able to post on time for Wednesday or Thursday (sorry!) so...
Today, we discussed the good and the bad about the APUSH exam and little of the AP Lang exam. Ms. McCarron then went on to discuss the projects that are due in the next few weeks. Don't forget to:
1. Register for the alumni
2. Write your letter of recommendation
3. Finish your resume
4. Do the me, myself, and I sheet
5. And finally, the superheroes project
And let's all thank Ms. McCarron for getting us a little treat for our hard work! ;]

Breanna seemed to do a good job when it came to explaining what we did in class on Monday. Her post was accurate and clear, but she didn't explain what the two assignments that we received on Monday actually were.

Friday 5/13/11
Today we went over the letters of recommendation and the resume assignment. Ms. McCarron passed out example of resumes and letters of recommendation and then talked about how to write one. She moved the due date for the letter of recommendation to Tuesday 5/17/11 and wants everyone to register as alumni. To register go to the Lincoln website and on the left side, click on the link that says Lincoln Alumni. Have a good weekend and congratulations on finishing AP exams this year.

This weeks AP exam make-ups so good luck to those of you who are taking one. Also this week we have the letter of recommendation due Tuesday, the resume due Wednesday, and the me, myself, and I assignment due Friday. FOR FRIDAY: Austin did a great job of covering all the points of class Friday. He also did well in including reminders of due date changes. But what put his post over the top was his explanation of the alumni assignment. Great job Austin! Very informative!
