Hello Everyone! Hope you all had a happy Easter! Today Mrs. McCarron lost her voice from a cold, so we quietly lectured! We began by reviewing who had turned in their Presidential Fakebook. Be sure to turn it in at Schoology.com in the dropbox by tonight! Then we continued to lecture on WWI and moved on to the 1920's, singing songs in 1920 spirit! Remember to study for our Terms test tomorrow!!!!!
Kristen's report of Monday is accurate and fully detailed. We reviewed details on how to turn in the Presidential Fakebook and how to turn it in to Schoology, Lectured on WWI and sang a 1920s song.
Today in class we began by taking our SECOND TO LAST TERMS QUIZ! only one more left this year! YAY! We then continued on in class with the lecture on the 1920's. No songs today. Also we were each assigned a Presidential group to review on Schoology.com. We are to review the Fakebooks and then decide which president was the most important of our group. This is very important! It will help with extra preparation for the exam. Tomorrow there is another Review session after school from 2:00-4:30 Hope you all had a good day!
Today we got into groups of three based on what presidents we had to review last night. We had to evaluate which president was the best based on what the group thought. We had a face off of the best presidents all the groups thought was the best. Part one of our test was passed out and is due Friday 29. Our next review session is on May 4. Only two days from our exam so be sure to study.
Today we had an extra 25 minutes of lecturing because of a tornado watch. We talked about the palmer raids, race riots in Chicago and St. Louis, society changes in the 1920s, the Harlem Renaissance and the lost generation. We also talked about the number of KKK members and what the Klan was like in the 1920s, and also the black population in different states.
We got back our old summary sheets and the timeline’s that went with them. We also listened to music.
Courtney Simpson, 2nd period Alright its Sunday people we need to be getting ready for the week hope you have the take home done or close to it and that you are studying for the APUSH exam this Friday. See ya tomorrow!
