Today we turned in source sheets(2 or more) and the graphic organizer on our History Fair topic. Ms. McCarron took some questions about History Fair and went over NoodleBib. We also got our Articles of Confederation DBQ essays back graded and received a sample essay of that topic.

Remember tomorrow we have a terms quiz on Chapter 13 pg.377. There are only 23 therms. For extra credit you can share your biliography by tomorrow 11/23 on NoodleBib.

The graphic organizer and 2 source sheets were due today for the Histry fair. Overall, you should have turned in at least 2 primary, 1 secondary, and 1 visual source. Remember, the source line needs to have the author and publishing date on it as well as the title or url.
After turning in the sheets, we spent about half an hour discussing the DBQ project and the extra credit NoodleTools. For extra credit, document at least 5 sources to the noodletools acount under **!!DBQ/HISTORY FAIR 2010!!** not anything else.
After the discussion, we talked about the Articles of Confederation essays and recieved a sample essay with other examples on the back.
Documents don't talk, the people who wrote the documents did. Do NOT put ooey gooey MLA fluff on the top of the page, just a name and period will suffice. Quotes longer than 7 words are a NO-NO!
Quiz tomrrow, study study study.

Today our Terms List #11 is due. Mrs. McCarron didn't collect our Terms notebooks but other students in the class graded them. Then we took our Terms List #11. After the quiz, she explained to us that she will be emailing Terms List #12 over Thanksgiving break so make sure to check your email! She also passed back our Sources sheets, other History Fair related homework from before and our Notebook grades. We also received new material: the DBQ blue ribbon (due 11/29).

Don't forget to add at least 5 sources for your bibliography in Noodletools by tomorrow! Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving, everyone!

Today we had our quiz on Chapter 13 and our terms list #11 were due. Ms. McCarron didn't collect the notebooks but had every student grade one. If you didin't have any graphics, highlighting or didn't do a few terms it's a letter grade. Over Thanksgiving break she is going to e-mail terms list #12 to us so don't forget and keep checking. We also got returned our source sheets and a few other History Fair papers we had to turn in along with our notebook grades from our last unit test and this one. Remember there is a blue ribbon we received that it due Monday 11/29.

Last day of Thanksgiving break, hope you all had lots of turkey and potates and pie. Unless you're a vegitarian... But anyways, we have to go back to school tomorrow. The Blue Ribbon for your DBQ is due to Mrs. McCarron at the begining of class and a Bibliography with at least 5 annotations is due Friday. The overall project is due NEXT Monday, December 6th. I hope you haven't slacked.
Our quiz will NOT be on Tuesday seeing as how we never got the new terms list, but Mrs. McCarron says we may have the quiz on Thursday.
Be prepared for notes.

I believe Kirsten and Paige covered everything that went on Monday. Make sure you are keeping up with the DBQ project and have all the source sheets turned in because it will make or break your grade, and will help you in the long run!

Klarizza covered most everything that went on during class. There have been some problems with the notebooks. Make sure your notes are organized and consistent, you notebook is organized with no loose papers, and that you keep all handouts in your notebook.
