10/4/10: Rachel Shaeffer
Today we took more notes on the Civil Rights Movement including the Freedom Rides and March on Washington. Then, we finally used the DBQ documents! We got into groups based on the document we had for homework, then we LIEd on the remaining documents. In other news, the Chapter 5: "Road to Revolution" quiz and terms due date were moved back to Wednesday because of class conflicts and Homecoming week activites. Remember: if you need to request a change in date for the quiz speak to Ms. McCarron the Friday BEFORE the quiz date. Study hard and do your terms thoroughly, because this is the last quiz of the nine weeks. This one counts; you CANT drop it! Good luck and Go Trojans. By the way the dress theme for homecoming is tomorrow is TWIN DAY.

It was another brilliant day in APUSH today. If you missed it, we worked with the DBQ documents more and discussed strategies for the AP Exam. It is important to note that for APUSH exams readers focus on outside information and the topics are typically very broad. Also, we do not group the documents we organize them. The question we worked with today can be found at the top of your document. Tomorrow is our Chapter 5 quiz and the terms are due! Be Prepared!!! Make sure to check your emails, Ms. McCarron sent out a recent grade update.

Oh, APUSH! Today in class we took the terms test on list number 6. Ms. McCarron helped us review all of the acts in this list. Boy were there alot! Hope you all did well. Then we continued to discuss and form our very first APUSH DBQ (goodbye Euro essays). And ended class with the beginning of a video on the civil rights acts. We finish it tomorrow first thing.

Hi agian everybody! Today in the wonderful class of second period APUSH, we finished the video of the civil rights movements, that we had started the day before. It was an extremely moving film! Sorry if you missed it. Sure did put the things we had been lecturing on in class in perspective. We also reviewed blogging at the beginning of class! Remember to check the blue blogging sheet and keep up with your assignments! Ms. McCarron handed out another document sheet, that we will pick up with tomorrow. Check with her or the makeup work folder for a sheet.
Dont forget to keep up with the next terms list!

Hi everybody today we worked on the blue ribbon worksheet. During class we decided that we were going to turn in the worksheet on Friday of next week. We are to check the blog this weekend as well. I hope everyone had fun at the dance, today. Make sure to finish the terms sheet as well before Tuesday. See you all next week.
