Today, we took notes regarding the Civil War Amendments (aka Reconstruction Amendments) and sketched a political cartoon entitled "The First Vote". Don't forget we have a TEST TOMORROW on Unit 6. So remember to do your timeline and summary sheet!

Thanks for telling what we did in class and giving a reminder about the Unit 6 Test tomorrow. Remember that Mrs. McCarron will be on Nicnet for review at 8pm.
Michael Hoffman 2/26/10 Today we talked about how lincoln is a "red headed step child" but has a better social studies department than leon. We also got a new terms list which is due Thursay of next week and we signed some paper that said if we get a four or five on the exam we can get an A for both semesters if we sumbiit something by labor day....
Michael good job on being specific with the lincoln stuff and terms list but u have to talk to mccarron for getting your grade fixed if you meet the requirements
AJ Campanile 2/25/2010 Today we took our unit testwhich was very hard so if you missed it you need to study. We also recieved a handout about the changes in farming in the New South and the West which we will go over in class monday
Friday, 2/26/2010 AJ Campanile Todaywe had a break from the test and went over our AP test we will be taking MAY 7. if you recieve a 4 or 5 on the test, you will be able to change your semseter grade to an A (possibly) have a great weekend

today, we went over the major battles in the civil war such as antietam, gettysburg, and vicksburg. we used google earth to pin point the locations and ran out of time while still discussing the battles...remember we have a unit test thursday and summary sheets and timelines are due too

Today we went over the wars of the civil war on google earth. Thats pretty much it....Weve got a unit test sometime this week or next week.
