Monday, November 10th.
Today in class we reviewed our Federalist and Jeffersonian Republican-Democratic Stick Figures, with the other students in class. We rotated in circles to review [silently] what the other students had in their notebooks, so that we may compare and add /revise our own as needed. Then we continued by discussing the 1790's and several significant events during that time period and whether or not they were catagorized as domestic affairs or foreign affairs.

Please note: Terms are due Thursday, due to Veternas day on Tuesday [no school].

Topic: 1790's
Today in class we took a quiz on id terms list #10 and turned in our terms notebook and the source sheet for history fair. After the quiz we started the peddlers cross and fish diagrams for significant events in domestic and foreign affairs in the 1790's.
Remeber the quiz is worth this section's notebook grade so be prepared.

Friday, November 15.

Today in class we started ribbon in our notebooks. We began by writing our thesis statements in the "button" and then graded ourselves for the content within them. Mrs. McCarron stated that our thesis statements, just as our document source handouts [that we recieve in class], always set a time and always tell whom the orator, writer etc. may be. Also, most often times a general place is given ie. The United States of America. The question which we were to form our thesis around, generally questioned which had greater impact in the 1790s, Foreign or Domestic affairs /policies.

Also, during class Mrs. McCarron handed back our history fair resource sheets that were turned in prior to friday.

Hope everyone has a safe and exciting weekend.
