Today we were on FCAT testing schedule and finished discussing the progressive movement and started to discuss progressivism.

Today, our class period was slightly extended because of the FCAT testing so we took a lot of notes. We took notes on Progressivism and the many ideals that fell under the movement, such as improving social welfare, political reform, moral improvements, economic reform and fostering efficiency.
For the students that were given make up DBQs, remember they are due Friday morning at 6:00am. The extra credit is also due by 5:00 Sunday

Today in class we had a lecture and we analyzed the Expansionism political cartoon that we copied down the previous day. We also talked about the people for and against expansion, as well as the differences in the times the US has chosen to expand.
The make up DBQs are due tomorrow morning at 6:00. Don't forget about the review projects, they are due soon.

This was a busy week in Ms. McCarrons class, with the FCAT and the quiz. Dont forget to continue to work on the review project. As well as begining to prepare yourself for the fast apporaching AP exam.
