Monday, 2/6

Today we took notes on the Mexican War. Then we watched a video on the California Gold Rush and answered questions on the white sheet that we picked up on Friday. History Fair product was also due this morning. Don't forget that tomorrow is the terms quiz and a rough draft of your blue-ribbon essay is due in class.

Today we took our terms 17 quiz, and afterwards our FRQ essay groups collaborated in class to work on the essays.

McKayla Moors, 2nd Period
Today we organized quotes concerning slavery, differentiating between pro-slavery and pro-abolition points of view. We then took notes on the end of the Mexican War and the Compromise of 1850. Presentations for our group projects start on Friday!

McKayla Moors, 2nd Period
Today class was held in Lab 711. We spent the first fifteen minutes of class examining History Fair exhibits in the Media Center. We then spent the rest of the period in the lab working on our group essay visual presentations. The presentations start tomorrow.

Myles on 2/7 was short and to the point. He mentioned everything that was needed except maybe to mention that we have valentine's day extra credit.

Today we spent the first 20 minutes taking down our history fair exhibits in the media center. Then we went to the lab and watched the first essay present on the Mexican War. We took notes and evaluated their essay. Don't forget to finish your essays because you'll probably be presenting soon. Also, Valentine's Day extra credit is due on Tuesday.
