Today we took notes on the gold rush and the increasing conflict between the North and the South. Remember History Valentines EC is due tomorrow, and essay/powerpoint presentations are tomorrow as well (Groups 2 and 3).
Vivek Somasundaram 02/14 2nd Period Today Groups 2 and 4 presented their powerpoints. Remember to finalize any changes to your projects and be prepared to present in class tomorrow (All remaining groups).
Vivek said everything we did in class. We discussed the conflicts between the Noth and the South by use of the Pro-Slave vs. Abolitionists statements and many Laws and Terms involving slavery. Along with his reminders, the EC Historical Valentine information is on schoology.com
Along with what Vivek said, Historical Valentines were to be put on the board during class. We also had a short lecture on the Republican Party and the Kansas-Nebraska Act between the two groups presenting. Happy Valentine's Day!
Reminder: If your History Fair project advanced the Process Paper is due tomorrow.
