Today we found out that for the first time social studies classes will be given an end of the year Test, though it will not count as a grade.
During class, it was a study hall period so we had time to work on terms list 14b. The quiz will be on friday.
Also, you do not need to complete Terms list 14a, though it is recomended.

Notes were taken on the aftermath of the War of 1812 and the Treaty of 1814. The Jeffersonian Democratic-Republicans were also discussed. It is obviously advantageous to get these notes from someone if absent this day.

The lavendar sheet indicating plans for History Fair is due Tuesday, 1/10. Be sure to turn this in for a grade.

Notes were taken today as a continuation of the notes from Monday. These notes covered from the Tariff of 1816 all of the way to the expansion of the railway system and the era of canals. It would behoove anyone absent to get these notes as soon as possible.

Regina covered everything we did on Tuesday. According to Ms. McCarron, every Tuesday and Thursday will be a sort of study hall. Only do terms list 14A if you don't know anything about the actual Civil War.

No one blogged for Thursday, so here's what happened: we took notes on the Market Revolution, and then we started peer-grading fourth period's midterm essays after an explanation into grading procedure.

No one blogged for Friday, so here's what happened: after a study period and some minor technical difficulties, we took Terms Quiz 14B. After that, we finished peer-grading fourth period's midterm essays. Then we continued taking notes on the Market Revolution and on the creation of a one-party system in the US. Don't forget that History Fair is due on Monday, January 23!
