Akua Yamoah 2 period
Hi everybody! I know everyone is pumped for the Lincoln vs. Leon football game this friday but we got to stay focused this week because there is a TEST this THURSDAY! Today if you read the blog last week there was an optional assignment due today at 7:00am. But anyway today in class we discussed who came to America first, which was Spain and later Britain and France came and followed Spain's pardigm(model). Then we ended discussion with how IMPORTANT the 1619 was. There are 3 important things about 1619:
1) the House of Burgeous
2) 1st women to come to America and indentured servants
3) 1st Africans to come to America
We really got a lot done in class. Don't forget to work on outline for the test. It's due on 10/21

Akua Yamoah 2 period
Hi everybody! Today was another productive day in class. The topic discussion in class today was continuing off of what we talked about yesterday which was about the beginnings of the 13 colonies. We talked about the border line between the South and the North which was the mason-dixon line with is between Pennsylvania and Maryland. Then we talked about the geographical and economical differences between the North and the South. Next we shifted gears to pilgrims and the Mayflower and what their goals were once they got to the New World as well as what they did to make and maintain order. Last but not least we talked about the formation of towns or communities in the New World and why they were set-up the way they were.
Make sure to be working on the unit packet, time line, and just simply studying for the unit test THURSDAY! and dont forget tonight is a review for the test on www.nicenet.org from 7 to 8.

Bradley Wheeler 2 period
Hello APUSHers! Today was a great review day in class. We finished talking about the puritan societies. We also talked about the outcasts from these societies, Anne Hutchinson and Roger Williams, and the half-way convenant. Remember! We have a big test tomorrow! It is the end of the nine weeks so study up! Also remember that the nicenet discussion from last night is still up for you two read if you have any questions if you couldn't make it on last night. Finish up your timelines and review packets, I know everyone has already started! See you guys tomorrow!! and good luck on the test!
