Monday, 10/11 Jackie Sirianni, 2nd Period
Today we had a substitute, Mr. Cummings, who told us about his interesting visit to Plymouth! Then we watched a video on The Mystic Massacre, the first slaughter of Native Americans by the British. We picked up a handout with questions on it for the video. We didn't get all the way through the video though because of some technical difficulties so we didn't answer the last couple of questions. Don't forget that tomorrow we have our Chapter 6 Terms quiz! Be sure to study the people and generals because there are alot of them!

Jackie Sirianni, 2nd Period
Today in APUSH, Ms. McCarron returned back to class and we finished the video on the Mystic Massacre. The topic of today's lecture was the New World and how Columbus was the first to discover it because he brough trade, but not the first to come to the Americas. We discussed the different peoples who had probably settled here but nobody knows for sure who the first ones were. Also, our terms quiz was postponed until Friday! You probably want to start on your terms for the next quiz, Chapter 7, because those are due on the 26th and there a lot of them. Don't forget that the PSAT is tomorrow morning so we won't be going to APUSH or any of our morning classes! Good luck on the PSAT!

John Thyer, 2nd Period
Today in AP US History, we had Mr. Cummings as a substitute teacher. The handouts we received were a Document Based Essay prompt on the Salem Witch Trials, and another copy of the Blue Ribbon Worksheet for the African-American civil rights movement. Students are required to bring their completed Blue Ribbon Worksheets on Friday. Students are also required to finish documenting and grouping each of the documents in the DB Essay. Tomorrow is the quiz date on Chapter 6, so have your terms ready tomorrow!

hey guys! hope you enjoyed your weekend. dont forget to read that document we recievved on friday and why not get a head start on those terms due on the 26th. i will see you guys monday bright and early and remember no school friday!!

hey again! hop eeveryone enjoyed their sunday. it was kinda chilly but then turned out really nice. get all the homework done tonight people. and go to bed early and get some good sleep. we have a 4-day weekend ahead of us so be glad. start those terms. do not wait till last minute and cram. they are due oct. 26 so get it done. see everyone tomorrow!! :)
