U.S.Foreign Policy/Red Scare
(Ms. McCarron was out today because of History Fair, so we had a substitute.)
Today we began class by writing a 30 minute FRQ based on the timeline we started in class last Friday--"U.S. foreign policy in the 1920s and 1930s"(and were supposed to finish for homework over the weekend.)
After the FRQ, we started the movie "Ordinary Americans:The Red Scare," and got through question 7...we are supposed to be finishing this tomorrow.
n.b. Many of us turned in part B of the take-home test---DUE TOMORROW (Tuesday, 5/4)!!!

U.S. Foreign Policy/Red Scare
Today, we turned in section B of the take-home test and picked up section C--DUE FRIDAY! We peer-graded the FRQs we wrote on Monday (on U.S. Foreign Policy) and turned them back in to the substitute. Then, we finished watching the movie "Ordinary Americans:The Red Scare," and turned in the questions that went along with it. Since we finished about ten minutes early, we began working on the final section of the take-home test. Also, the last opportunity for make-ups was this afternoon, and "Dig for Buried Treasure was to be signed up for by noon today.

~Want to Dig For Buried Treasure: 3pm Wednesday!!!-no late exceptions!(for EVERYONE except AP Chinese students)
~Correction: Nicenet Online Review is actually scheduled for Thursday, 5/6, sorry for the mistake on Monday's blog.
~APUSH EXAM is Friday, so STUDY!
~Tomorrow: AP Calculus AB and BC (AM) exams, as well as AP Chinese(PM)--Good luck!

As you should know, the APUSH exam is tomorrow at the armory. Be signed in by 7:30 am. Your good conduct will be counted as a unit test grade(in other words, try your hardest and don't go to sleep). There is a nicenet review starting around 9 pm or 9:30 pm. It will end by 11 pm.
The take home test part C is due tomorrow, but if you happen to have an excused absence, you can turn it in next Monday.
The comments about the two review videos that you've watched are due by Monday at 7 am, but if you want bonus points, have them on nicenet by 7am Friday. Address change over time of three videos: the one preceding yours, yours, and the one after yours.

Good job on the blog Jane, but you forgot to mention that our text books are due Monday for a grade! So make sure not to forget yours.

Today we didn't have to go to class because it was the APUSH exam! Hope everyone did well on it and that all their studying paid off. Remember not to talk about the FRQs or multiple choice!
Reminder:
Textbooks are due monday along with your take home test if you had not already turned it in.

Happy end of weekend. Get ready for another busy week of AP exams. Good luck to people who are taking the bio, physics, and music theory exams.
Reminders
~peer review of videos that addresses change over time is due by tomorrow(Monday) 7 AM. Post you paragraph on nicenet.org.
~take home test part C is due in class tomorrow since everyone was at the the exam Friday.
~textbooks are due in class tomorrow for 100 points. 25 points are taken off for each late day. If you're not there tomorrow, turn it in the day you come back.
