Today in APUSH our Academic Resumes were turned in at the beginning of class. After turning these all in, the class continued watching the movie, "Dr. Strangelove".
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
Me, Myself, & I = Due FRIDAY! (See Handout on exactly how to complete this)
The SUPERHERO Project is due MONDAY, May 24, 2010! So be sure to continue brainstorming ideas about what historical figure you could make into a superhero!

P.S. - The Seniors have their last day FRIDAY! So if you haven't gotten yearbook signatures from them you may want to tackle that.

Today in APUSH we watched Dr. Strangelove again. It's nearing the end.
TOMORROW your Me, Myself, & I assignments are due! Be sure to have them completed.
Also, the annual Lincoln High School GREEN & GOLD game is THIS SATURDAY! Be sure to come out and watch... We can't lose... literally...

Friday, May 21
Today in class we first got a green sheet from the door and we answered 4 questions about what we are looking for in a college including academically, why we are going to college, what extracurricular activities we want available, and where the college should be in location. Then we turned in our Me, Myself, and I Redux and they were hung no the wall. Ms. McCarron then elaborated on the essentials of college and what we should take into consideration for college and how we should visit schools to see if they're right for us. Remember the story about the super smart tennis player who always wanted to go to Yale or Princeton, but when he visited them, he decided they weren't for him and ended up going to Georgia Tech.
Remember that the Superhero Project is due Monday!

Sunday May 23
Tomorrow the Superhero Project is due! Remember that it has a description on a blue sheet and another description of it on a white half sheet, both which we got at the cart at the door.
The Seniors come to school tomorrow, but not for long and then they're gone the next day so schools coming to an end!
Our last day with Ms. McCarron is Friday as she leaves for the AP Grading thing over the weekend and then the next week of school is our last week!
