Today we did a lot in class. First, we got back our notebooks, as well as our notebook grades for the last two units, and a sheet with our history fair grading on it.
We also got a calendar with the quiz dates and other important dates on it, up to the AP test on May 7th. If you want to host a review session at your house, talk to Ms. McCarron by Thursday with a date in mind.
We talked a bit about the AP test, and found out that Friday is Bubble Day. Juniors will be meeting in the Gym in fourth period, and should try to bring something to write on, as the Gym has no desks.
For those of you who are taking the practice test this weekend (April 10th or 11th), ask your parents if they'd be willing to help proctor. They could bring a book, so it'd be easy. Talk to Ms. McCarron if they are willing to.
Finally, we learned a bit about our review video project, and started to pick partners. You can work as an individual or in a group of two, so decide soon. Examples of review videos and important links and handouts are located on her website at http://www.mchistory.com/McHistory/Review_Project.html
Remember, there is a terms quiz tomorrow, so study!

This is excellent! A lot of detail that anyone absent would definitely be grateful of. The reminder of the quiz tomorrow was probably really needed for many people who might hve forgotten over the break!

We took Terms Quiz 21 today during class. Those who didn't yet have topics for their review projects picked them, and most everyone should have an assignment for the project now. We also started a new unit in our notebook, Unit 8 (i think).
The next Terms List is supposed to be the hardest one yet, and there are 28 terms, so dive right in and prepare yourself.
Remember, a draft of your scripts for the review project are due Monday. Don't dally!
Review books should be in soon, so be ready to start studying.

We did start on Unit 8, and it's titled "Progressivism, Ppopulism, and Imperialism."
Very nice reminder about the script and quiz for next week. This weekend should be a busy one with the practice exams also!

What does liberal mean? If you knew today in class then you got chocolate! Today was a pretty fun lecture (as far as lectures go) because we got chocolate for right answers and we were talking about prohibition and populism and all kinds of illegal distillery things.
As a reminder for this weekend, if you aren't stressed you should be! If you are like me then you have the ACT, APUSH practice test, hardest terms list of the year and a script for the video project to do!!!!!!! Good luck to us all!!

She did a great job explaining what we took notes on and what we did in class. Also, the extra reminders for this weekend are very helpful. Also, if you are in Mrs. Spradlins class your re-write essay is due Monday, if you are in her 4th period it is due tuesday.

Today in class we mainly talked about AP bubbling day *WHICH IS TOMORROW REMEMBER!!!* (4th), and our AP scores. After Ms. McCarron told us what were the best classes to take in college (don't ever major in pre-med or pre-law), we briefly took notes on the slide about farmers. We also talked about the Populous party for like one minute before leaving for 3rd.

Today we discussed AP bubbling day which is tomorrow at the beginning of 4th period in the gym. Make sure you bring a hard covered binder or notebook so you can pick up some extra credit and make the process a little smoother. Also be brainstorming tonight about the decision that Ms. McCarron needs help with and has posted on the blog for our opinion on. E-mail her with any suggestions you may have. Happy Friday!

Gina did exceptionally well in accounting for all that we did in class on thursday. During class, we also discussed how the qualifying ap scores correlate into our college gpa's.

Hope everybody had a good APUSH-filled weekend! Because I certainly did! Important reminders for the upcoming week include: the hardest terms quiz of the year tomorrow and movie scripts due Wednesday. Oh and good job at AP bubbling day. I would have been upset if we missed lunch. Have a good week!

Good blog, I like the positive attitude. Good job reminding every one about the terms quiz and that it is the hardest quiz of the year, that is very important for everyone to remember! Also, good job mentioning AP bubbling. If you missed AP bubbling there are make up dates, you should talk to Mr. Koerner about them.
