Today we went over World War I pretty broadly. Most of us knew at least a little bit of the war, but keep in mind, the AP exam really only tests about the home front, not really the actual war.
Ms. McCarron lectured for about half of the class, and then we watched a video called "Shell Shock"
DONT FORGET ABOUT THE REVIEW PROJECT! The last day to turn it in will be on Friday, after that it IS A 0, F, Goose Egg, so GET IT DONE!
Punshon's blog for tuesday was good! We did have our last content terms quiz today and we did read about the "New Negro" and "New Woman" as well as annotating them in our notebooks.
Don't forget video projects are due this week no later by friday!!!
Today we had our last terms quiz ever in APSUH! It was our last so we cannot drop this grade so I hope you did good. After the quiz we drew new stick figures. The "New Negro" and "New Woman".
Great blog Kris! I would just add that everyone should remember you have to have a mla format bibliography for the review project. This mla format includes pictures as well as content sources.
Today in class Ms. McCarron clarified for us that on our review video projects we are to cite the pictures we have used at the bottom of each slide, as well as have a complete bibliography which MUST be included at the very end of the video. We also discussed the new women of the 1920s and the emergence of flappers.
Today in class we discussed the twenties in further detail. Don't forget that Friday (tomorrow) is the absolute last day to turn in the review projects. Failure to do so will result in a zero. =/ The take-home test is also due tomorrow, and you would do well to remember that those who cheat are only hurting themselves in the long run.
Reviewing Ward's blog on the 27th Good overview about the last APUSH terms quiz but don't forget that we can drop one of our terms quizzes if we want to! You must register before May 4th at the quia website. Also don't forget the take home test we recieved on Friday is due either on Monday or before school on Tuesday.
Thanks for reminding us about part II of the take home test which is due monday in class or tuesday before school. Also, just wanted to remind everyone of the upcoming review session which is the final review session before the exam. So far I have attended 2 of the 3 that have happened, and they've been quite helpful as well as fun and entertaining, I recommend everyone attend this last review so any of your questions can be answered before the exam!
Kaitlin Ward Friday Friday in class we watched a video on Sister Wendy about art. We also picked up 3 sheets at the door...the first and second corresponded with the video while the last was a timeline we had to create.

Earlier I posted reviews because I thought I was reviewing this week instead of blogging. Just thought I'd let you all know that I made a mistake.
