Monday 3/8
L. Mindlin 2
Today in APUSH we looked at some maps about Western Expansion, and where cattle drives stemmed from. We talked about the beginning of Cowboys and how they changed over the short period known as the Cowboy Era. At the end of class we listened to, and sang along with, some "cowboy songs".
Remember, there's a Terms Quiz tomorrow, so bring your notebooks. Also, this period starts promptly at 12:05, so don't be late coming back from lunch. Enjoy your morning!
Tuesday 3/9
L. Mindlin
Today we only had a 30 minute second period, so we had to take the quiz very quickly.
The next terms list will be due in a few weeks, but we don't have to start it yet because we turned in our notebooks today.
If you didn't turn in your List 18 terms because it was in a different notebook remember to bring it in on Friday.
Fourth period starts at 12:05 tomorrow, so don't be late. Have a good day.

Today we as second period students were not privileged enough to experience our usual hour of APUSH. However, time has not stopped and there are still terms to be done!! I didn't want to throw this at you right next to the sad reminder of our lack of APUSH today, but we unfortunately do not have APUSH tomorrow either...see you Friday!!

Fellow APUSHers! Sadly, we did not get to meet for class today due to the FCAT schedule. But no worries, we will meet on Friday so don't panic. One quick reminder: if your terms list #18 was in another notebook, it is due on Friday. Our next terms list isn't due until the 18th of March so there's plenty of time to read the chapter and do terms. Well, that's all that I have so get a good night's sleep for the FCAT tomorrow so you can get free parking next year. And another important tip for the FCAT is to have a positive attitude. It is important to go in that room with a smile and confidence. You need to go in that room with an "I'm going to kick the crap out of this FCAT" mentality.

Shelby did very well in expressing her dissatisfaction with not having apush on wednesday or thursday, as I too am quite saddened by this fact. However, our next terms list is due March 18th so as diligent students we should all get started on those either this week or this weekend.

Hello fellow Apushers!, and happy weekend!
Today in class we started off the day with a small discussion on the FCAT science. It was much like a socratic seminar, as everyone was adding to the conversation, but it always stayed on topic :)
Next we took some notes.
These notes consisted of how the Indians were killing us white folks. Ms. McCarron gave us majority notes on the many massacre's that happened during the late 1800's (in case you weren't here today).
Everyone have fun, be safe, and kick the SAT's but this weekend!

Not much to report on this lovely Sunday evening....There will be a terms quiz on Thursday so if you need something to do, there is a terms list available ;) Hope everyone had fun this weekend and if you took the SAT I applaud you!

Hope everybody had a good weekend. And hope that everyone did well on the SAT also. The only APUSH reminder that I have is the terms list due on Thursday as well as the quiz the same day. Have a good Sunday night writing your Lang Essay that I know you haven't finished yet!

Good and thorough review of all the stuff we need to keep in mind since we didn't meet that day. I also enjoyed the FCAT comments. Free parking is awesome, even if the FCAT isn't.
