Monday December 14 I am supposed to review but since nobody posted a blog for today I figured I could do it.
In class: Turned in the DBQ!! Talked about how formal documents should be double spaced, but the crazy stuff at the top of the page is NOT all of mla, so don't try to do that in college. At the end of class we had time to start terms.
today we turned i our DBQ project and then received our new terms list. the first terms list is due on thursday, not wednesday. We had time to start on our terms in class.
today we worked with our partners (assigned last week) on a picture that was to represent a landmark supreme court case of the Marshall court. Remember terms due Thursday.
Phillip- I think your blog was very well written. Thanks for correcting me on the term date, I just get so excited when it comes to sectionalism that sometimes I jump too far ahead. You did forget to mention that our exam is Friday.
Today we finished working on our court case projects with our partner and we started to go over all of the different court trial before the bell rang. We have terms due tomorrow on list #13 and we also have our APUSH exam on friday also if you have a seventh period the exam is tomorrow.
Thursday December 17th Terms list #13 was due today and we had a quiz that took up almost the entire period. We also had Taylor Dayton serenade us with a history version of Frosty the Snow Man. Good job!
Don't forget to study for the exams tomorrow for 1st, 2nd, and the rest of 7th period. Also, go to the band, chorus, guitar concert tomorrow. Tickets are $5 at the door
On friday we did half of our exam and we will finish the other half on tuesday. 3rd and 4th period exams are on Monday and 5th and 6th period exams are on Tuesday along with our other half of the APUSH exam. Merry Christmas!
Today we had our quiz on terms list #13. After that we had a little time left and Taylor Dayton sung a carol about Federalists and the Democratic Republicans. We have the essay portion of the exam tomorrow so be sure to study the list of sample questions she gave us :)
Today things were switched up becasue of the exam schedule and we had 2nd period after lunch. We took the essay portion of the quiz,, and we will take the multiple choice portion on Tuesday. Good Luck!
P.S. Happy Birthday to Linda Infinger and Kristen Punshon
Good job reminding everyone on Thursday to study the essay topics for the exam, and good job on Friday telling everyone to remember that we are having the multiple choice section on Tuesday.
Mary Katherine Tebo Review for Linda Infinger Wednesday, 12/16
Linda did really well summarazing what we did in class. After finishing our court case posters, we started a new unit page and copied a graphic organizer which listed all of the cases that the groups in the class had done from the projector into our lecture notebooks.
Mary Katherine Tebo Friday, 12/18 Review for Apiphany
Apiphany did a good job of summarizing what we did in class on Friday. Don't forget that the essay portion of the exam will go in as a grade for next 9 weeks.
