Monday, 10/5 J.Rosenthal, 2 Unit 1: In my life and Yours: The Civil Rights Movement No assignments collected today, but Terms List 6 is due on Thursday, October 8. Materials Distributed: Grade report sheets, History fair topic sheets, and BLUE "blue ribbon" sheets (not white) At the beginning of class, we broke into groups to discuss our civil rights documents and formulated them into an introductory paragraph with a thesis. One member of the group wrote their intro paragraph on a blue "blue ribbon sheet". After that, our quizzes were handed back to us and we filled out a quiz evaluation sheet including quizzes 3, 4, and 5. Also, Mrs. McCarron distributed the History fair topic sheets and grade report sheets. October 8: Quiz 6 (this quiz cannot be dropped) October 20: Quiz 7 Mrs. McCarron will be out for the next three days. If there are any conflicts concerning grades (on a day that Mrs. McCarron is here) please consult her AFTER CLASS, not during class. Or you may email her at mccarronk@mail.leon.k12.fl.us
Wednesday 10/7 A. Sadler, 2 We worked on our essay body paragraphs for a majority of the period. We also got a white 2 page handout on the "Patterns of Colonization" Mrs. Mccarron will be collecting notebooks friday during class, but still try to get your terms done by tomorrow and know your information for the quiz. Remember the quiz CANNOT BE DROPPED. So get your terms notebooks done. I'm even going to do them all!
Sunday, 10/11 (10/12 actually) J.Rosenthal, 2 On this upcoming week, be sure to work on your History fair sheets, and gather sources. Also, bring in a typed copy of your DBQ group essay to Mrs. McCarron no later than Tuesday. Our terms notebooks will be handed back this week, make sure to work on the next terms list, which is due on Oct. 20
