Monday, October 13th
R.Wheeler 2nd period
Today we got into our groups with our partners from last week (One partner had the yellow sheets the other the green sheets). We finished going over the documents in our notebooks with our partner and then copied down a new graphic organizer in the shape of a ribbon. We then discussed about writing our opening sentence in a essay. We wrote down different ideas of how the the time period, colonies, and topics that could be used in our essay. Then with our partner we constructed our opening sentence and our theseis statement.
Notebooks were handed back.
Nothing was collected.
Quiz on Terms List #7 Ch.6 "Securing Independence, Defining Nationhood 1776-1788" (p.159-193), tomorrow
R.Wheeler 2nd period
Today we took are Quiz on Terms List #7. After that we recieved a handout and got into are groups again, the same groups as the day before. The sheet had graphic organizer that was in the shape of a ribbon and we had to fill it out within our group. Once we finished that, our notebooks were collected.
PSAT tommrow, no APUSH class.
Wednesday, October 15th,
Mimi Thai 2nd Period
Today we had PSAT testing from first to fourth period, so no APUSH classes until after lunch.
Thursday, October 17th
Mimi Thai 2nd Period
Today we started class by retrieving three handouts at the door and sat in our new seats. Among the handouts was our new terms' lists. We also received our terms and lecture notebooks back and had about 15 minutes of lecture. Then, we got into our pre-assigned groups and began analyzing documents and working on graphic organizers until the bell.
Tomorrow is Teacher Planning Day, we will have no school.
ID Terms list #8 Quiz, Tuesday, the 21st.
friday oct 17
Mimi Thai 2nd Period
Today was Teacher's Planning Day, so school was out and we did not have class.
Remember: Terms quiz on Tuesday!
And be ready for the document stuff, too!
Morgan Smith 2nd Period
On thursday we had those document sheets that we were supposed to analyze. We also have a quiz 8 on Ch.7 "Launching the New Republic, 1789-1800" on pgs 195+, on Tuesday so be prepared!
